Last season ended with a heartbreaking loss to Arkansas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it looked like the team's window may be closing as star center Angel Delgado flirted with leaving South Orange for the NBA. But his return cemented Seton Hall's status as a consensus preseason Top 25 team — they start the season No. 23 in the AP Top 25 and were picked to finish second in the Big East. With a daunting conference schedule as well as major tests before Big East play begins, the Pirates will have plenty of opportunities to prove how much they've learned and improved with three years of experience for the team's core.
