As No. 19 Seton Hall warms up for the Never Forget Tribute Classic on Saturday, the Pirates will honor 14 members of the school's community who were killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The Pirates will have the names of those 14 people on the back of their special Under Armour warm-up shirts before facing VCU at Prudential Center. The Never Forget Tribute will raise money for the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, which supports education for children of victims of the attacks.
The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund was established within a week of the September 11 attacks, and provides education assistance for post secondary study financially needy dependents of those killed or permanently disabled in the terrorist attacks.
