Seton Hall hung tough Monday night against conference powerhouse No. 19 DePaul but lost 82-76, their third loss in a row. Lauren Park-Lane led the Pirates with 24 points and Andra Espinoza-Hunter recorded a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds.
The Pirates quickly caught up towards the end and showed up in the paint and snatched rebounds on both ends of the court. The Pirates led DePaul 17-13 after the first quarter. Elmore led the Pirates with six points and Espinoza-Hunter had four in the successful first frame.
Seton Hall was able to keep their lead deep into the second quarter, and Park-Lane hit a buzzer beating three at the end of the second to tie the game at 31-31.
