The Seton Hall women’s basketball team picked up an 83-74 road victory over No. 23 (AP) DePaul on Friday afternoon at McGrath-Phillips Arena in Chicago, Ill.
The win improved the Pirates 17-4, 7-3, one game behind DePaul in the conference standings. The Blue Demons now stand at 16-7, 8-2 with the loss.
The Pirates came out of the gates looking as if they had something to prove. The Blue Demons embarrassed the Hall on their home floor in early January. Leading by as many as 32, DePaul came away with an 86-74 victory that was the first of three consecutive losses for Seton Hall.
