The Seton Hall baseball team ran up the scoreboard to defeat the Saint Peter’s Peacocks, 8-1, on Wednesday evening.

“Playing our style,” head coach Rob Sheppard said about his team’s play. “Nothing different from what we’ve been doing. Just trying stay aggressive offensively.”

Reigning Big East Player of the week Zack Weigel got things started for the Pirates in the third inning. The senior drove in two runs on a triple to give the Pirates a 2-1 lead.

Seton Hall sent out eight differ- ent pitchers on Wednesday, starting with senior Luke Cahill. The pitchers surrendered no earned runs and gave up five hits in the game.
