After covering the men’s basketball team throughout this season and over the course of the entirety of the Big East Tournament, one thing is clear: This team is different.
Different than the Jordan Theodore-led squad in 2011-12 and far different than the team back in 2013-14 – a team that was two wins away from winning the conference tournament.
This year’s team has a refuse-to-lose type of attitude, which makes Sunday’s seeding almost irrelevant. People are forgetting this team was picked to finish seventh in the conference at the season’s start.
