Pirates fail to find late game magic again in loss to DePaul

Seton Hall had its seven-game winning streak snapped at the hands of the DePaul on Sunday afternoon, setting the Pirates back to 11-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

The Pirates had a chance for comeback, buzzer-beater glory yet again, but Sandro Mamukelashvili came up short on a shot from beyond the arc after the Pirates received possession off a jump ball with six seconds left in the contest. Mamukelashvili could not find Myles Powell for a handoff, but he was able to get a clean look off despite missing the shot.

Both teams came out firing offensively in the first half, exchanging baskets up until the first media timeout where the Pirates held a 10-8 edge.
