The Seton Hall volleyball team was defeated by Butler, 3-0, on Friday evening, dropping the teams overall record to 5-10.
The turning point of the contest occurred in the second set, as the Bulldogs called a timeout down 23-19, two points away from going into halftime with split sets. Butler, however, closed the gap quickly, putting up five unanswered points to take the lead at 24-23. The quick shift in momentum eventually won the set for Butler, 26-24.
“It’s definitely tough,” assistant coach Simone Asque said. “We just had one too many points where we became too predictable.
