Myles Powell and Seton Hall coast past Monmouth, 75-65 | Rapid reaction

NEWARK -- It was just the second game of the season. But against Monmouth on Sunday, Seton Hall looked like elite team that the college basketball world expected it would be.

With sophomore Myles Powell leading the way with 18 points and senior Khadeen Carrlington looking very comfortable at the point guard position, No. 23 Seton Hall cruised past Monmouth, -65, at Prudential Center for a second straight win to start the season.

Things were close in the early going, but a 22-7 Seton Hall run late in the first half gave the Pirates some breathing room that they never really relinquished.
