Combo guard Eron Gordon is the newest addition to the Seton Hall men’s basketball team. Gordon announced his decision Monday night at Westlane Middle School in his hometown Indianapolis, Ind.Leading up to Gordon’s decision, Seton Hall was the leader on a list of teams including Texas Tech, Maryland and Missouri. Gordon had an official visit to Seton Hall’s campus in October, with associate head coach Shaheen Holloway flying out to Indiana to scout him a month prior.
Gordon fills a need in Seton Hall’s lineup at guard with Isaiah Whitehead’s future on the team still up in the air and point guard Jevon Thomas remaining ineligible until December due to academic fulfillments, according to Chris McManus of shuhoops.
