After being recognized as the first Pirate to compete at the NCAA Regional Competition since 2001, and with a first seed as icing on the cake, Lloyd Jefferson Go proved why he deserved to be there.
Go started off the event by tying for last with a four-over-par, 76, in the first round of the Kohler Regional, hosted by Marquette University in Kohler, Wis. After this performance he composed himself in the second round, firing a two-under-par, 70, before going on to notch a two-over-par, 74, in the final round of the tournament.
From the pool of golfers, comprised of the region’s best golfers, Go scored a four-over-par, 220, to earn third place.
