Former Seton Hall assistant Shaheen Holloway suspended in connection with transfer tampering allegations

Former Seton Hall associate head coach and current Saint Peter’s head coach Shaheen Holloway has been suspended four games by the University in connection with transfer tampering allegations against Seton Hall’s basketball program.

Holloway will sit out Saint Peter’s exhibition game against New Jersey City University on Thursday night. He will also miss games against Bryant on Nov. 13, Providence on Nov. 16 and Wagner on Nov. 20.

“Saint Peter’s University and head men’s basketball coach Shaheen Holloway are committed to a culture of integrity and rules compliance,” Saint Peter’s said in a statement. “Coach Holloway has been working collaboratively with the NCAA enforcement staff to address an infraction that occurred prior to his employment at Saint Peter’s.
