Muschamp will have big shoes to fill, replacing legendary coach Steve Spurrier, who resigned in October after going 86–49 in 11 seasons at South Carolina. He had his struggles during his four years at Florida from 2011-14, leading the Gators to a 28–21 record, including a disappointing 17–15 in the SEC.
