While on Urban Meyer’s Florida staff, Zach Smith was arrested for “aggravated battery of a pregnant female.” Meyer not only failed by retaining Smith in 2009 after learning of the domestic abuse incident , but by hiring him a second time when he became the Ohio State head coach.
