Stanford offensive guard Joshua Garnett knows how special it is to have played with Christian McCaffrey. Just talking about the sensational sophomore brings an enormous smile to his face.
"You couldn’t imagine how easy it is blocking for Christian," Garnett said. "You start blocking for half a second and he’s 30 yards down the field.”
Watching McCaffrey, who broke Barry Sanders' record for all-purpose yardage in a season (3,496 yards), weave his way through defenses this season was pure beauty. He sliced and snaked his way to a Pac-12 leading 1,847 rushing yards and had eight touchdowns.
