Tackling the Crimson Tide's to-do list during the bye week

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The bye week couldn’t have come at a better time for No. 7 Alabama.

Outside of the injuries we saw against Tennessee -- right tackle Dominick Jackson and safeties Eddie Jackson and Ronnie Harrison -- there’s no telling how many players are dealing with bumps and bruises.

After eight consecutive games, the Tide needed a break. With No. 4-ranked LSU coming to town next Saturday, they had to have one.

But the bye week will have to be about more than rest and relaxation for Alabama if it hopes to keep its SEC championship and College Football Playoff hopes alive.
