This week, we’re continuing our team-by-team look at some of the intriguing freshmen on SEC teams, and who among them could be instant-impact players.

Next up are the Tennessee Volunteers, who finished with the nation's No. 14 recruiting class.

CB Tyler Byrd: The nation's No. 1 athlete should be able to do a lot for the Vols this fall. While he played both sides of the ball extremely well in high school, he'll be a cornerback first at Tennessee. With his instincts and nose for the ball, chances are he won't move from corner during his time in Knoxville.
