Per Max Olson, 90 SEC players competing for the NFL scouts, the SEC has the most participants out of all the Power Five conferences.
With the second most players in the draft were the Big Ten with 53. Following them was the ACC with 46, Pac-12 39 and the Big 12 with 33.
The number of players participating shouldn’t be a surprise to people. SEC schools are the fast track to the NFL.
Last year in the NFL’s conference championships there were 41 players from the SEC playing. On this year’s Super Bowl winner, the New England Patriot’s team, there were 12.
