In Saturday’s visit to No. 22 Ole Miss, No. 15 LSU is in danger of seeing an impressive streak come to an end.
The Tigers (7-2, 4-2) have not lost three straight games since 1999, the longest such streak in the SEC. According to ESPN Stats & Information, the next-closest SEC program is Alabama, which hasn’t lost three straight since 2007. Five SEC teams have lost three in a row this season alone.
But if Les Miles’ club loses to Ole Miss (7-3, 4-2 SEC), following double-digit losses to Alabama and Arkansas, it would make three in a row for the Tigers.
