Ole Miss saves season and finds its swagger against A&M

OXFORD, Miss. -- Huddled inside a meeting room last Sunday, Ole Miss' football team got honest with itself. Closed off from family and the outside world, the Rebels, still steaming from a shocking loss to unranked Memphis the day before, aired out their displeasure with the two-loss season that was.

Offensive lineman Justin Bell preached leadership and backing up all that talk from the week on Saturdays. Linebacker C.J. Johnson urged guys to find some pride and rediscover that juice that propelled them to such a fast start. Quarterback Chad Kelly assured players that the goal of an SEC championship was still firmly on the table, if they wanted it.
