As we all know, the return of college athletics has been the topic of discussion for quite sometime now. Thankfully, the NCAA voted for athletics to resume in 3 sports.
The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly taken its toll and put the entire spectrum of sports at a standstill. Many feared that the college football season would be cancelled after hearing conflicting news for the past few months.
But just a week ago, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the entire state of Florida would be open for state-restricted professional teams to play at surrounding stadiums and arenas in the sunshine region.
