LSU trio happy to have displayed improved quickness at Tigers' pro day

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Three LSU players arrived at Monday’s NFL pro day workouts with the goal of showing pro scouts that they are quicker on their feet than they showed at last month’s NFL scouting combine.

All three -- linebacker Deion Jones, defensive back Jalen Mills and offensive lineman Vadal Alexander -- left the Tigers’ practice facility saying they were pleased with their performances.

Jones and Mills both significantly improved upon their times in the 40-yard dash at the combine, with Jones posting blistering times of 4.38 seconds and 4.
