When two of the SEC’s best offenses and two of the league’s best quarterbacks squared off on Saturday at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Ark., it figured to be a fun, competitive game. That doesn't begin to describe what transpired, a game featuring 101 points between the teams without needing overtime.
Once the dust settled, Mississippi State had escaped with a 51-50 victory over Arkansas and quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Brandon Allen had put on a show to remember. Prescott finished 38-for-50 passing for 508 yards and five touchdowns, with one interception, and rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries in the win.
