The Georgia Bulldogs defeated South Carolina 24-10 on Saturday to achieve their first 9-0 start since 1982. With Kentucky’s loss to Ole Miss, Georgia also clinched their first SEC East title since 2012.
Georgia is looking to start 9-0 for the first time since 1982, when Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker led the Bulldogs to an 11-0 start.
