The ninth-ranked Kentucky Wildcats travel to Baton Rouge to take on potential No. 1 pick Ben Simmons and the LSU Tigers in Tuesday night SEC action.
The game will be the highly touted Simmons' first chance to test himself against a ranked opponent. The 6'10" Australian forward is averaging 20.5 points and a league-high 13.1 rebounds through the first 13 games of his freshman season.
Though Simmons has been the early standout from his class, the Tigers as a team have been just so-so this season. LSU is 8-5 but is trending in the right direction with wins in four of its last five games, most recently edging Vanderbilt 90-82 on January 2.
