Jordan Scarlett Cited for Marijuana Possession: Latest Comments and Reaction

Florida Gators running back Jordan Scarlett was reportedly suspended Sunday for the team's Citrus Bowl matchup against Michigan on New Year's Day after a citation for misdemeanor marijuana possession.

Thomas Goldkamp of 247Sports reported the news of Scarlett's ban. The suspension stems from a Dec. 19 arrest at the Keys Residential Complex in Gainesville, Florida, as Scarlett admitted to the University of Florida Police Department that he'd smoked marijuana, per a UFPD report.

Scarlett is the primary backfield backup to junior Kelvin Taylor and racked up 181 yards rushing and one touchdown this season.
