South Carolina has positional needs across its roster, but the Gamecocks especially need to sign and develop new playmakers on offense under new head coach Will Muschamp.
Most importantly, the Gamecocks need to identify the player who can be the trigger man for their offense after injuries and inconsistency created a revolving door at quarterback last fall. Perhaps an early enrollee in South Carolina’s 2016 recruiting class can be the solution to the Gamecocks’ problems.
Biggest need: Point to any position on South Carolina’s offensive roster and the Gamecocks likely have a need. They lost Brandon Wilds and Shon Carson in the backfield and star receiver Pharoh Cooper out wide.
