If we have learned anything about the media in 2015 it is this: they really, really, really,….like really really….hate being wrong. Somehow after beating an 0-3 Louisville team, needing overtime to defeat FCS opponent Jacksonville State, and getting embarrassed by one-dimensional LSU — Auburn is still ranked in the Amway Coach’s Poll. I have no idea how anyone justifies that.
As expected after a great week 3 of college football, there was plenty of movement in the poll. The biggest jump, unsurprisingly, came from Ole Miss. Previously ranked #11, the Rebels jumped to #5 after upsetting Alabama in Tuscaloosa in a game of the year candidate Saturday night.
