Hamstring Injury Sidelines Isaiah McKenzie

ATHENS - A pulled hamstring has sidelined Isaiah McKenzie again.

The Georgia wide receiver and kick returner saw his spring cut short after a hamstring injury on a 72-yard touchdown at the G-Day game and didn’t make it through the first week of preseason practices.

“Different leg,” coach Mark Richt said after the Bulldogs practice Saturday. “We don’t think it’s real severe, but those things take a while.”

McKenzie is expected to be one of Georgia’s top receivers this season after the departures of Chris Conley and Michael Bennett.
