Soon after Jim McElwain hauled in his second recruiting class at Florida, he reeled in yet another solid member to his 2016 team.
And this guy certainly has five-star qualities.
McElwain's hire of long-time Virginia Tech secondary coach Torrian Gray was a huge get for the Gators. They are not only getting a proven coach in an area that has been such a big part of this defense for the past couple of years, but they are also getting a top-flight recruiter, which is tremendously important going forward.
Though McElwain's second recruiting class can be deemed a success, especially when you consider the 12 very important early enrollees, this staff probably would have liked to have closed better than it did.
