But in a somewhat odd twist, the entire quarterback room has been turned over in just one year’s time. Will Grier and Treon Harris shared most of the reps last spring. Grier is gone; Harris is suspended.
So transfers Luke Del Rio and Austin Appleby, and freshmen Kyle Trask and Feleipe Franks are sharing reps during practice. Among them, Del Rio is the only one well-versed in the offense, having arrived last summer -- he sat out the season because of NCAA transfer rules.
