Watching Florida's offense during the second half of the season had to have been infuriating for Gators fans everywhere. Few drives finished with much success and so much potential for this team was left undiscovered.
But when the offense found ways advance and even sniff the end zone, another part of Florida's arsenal gave fans the heebie jeebies. That would be a kicking game that ranked dead last in the SEC. Florida kickers combined to hit just 7-of-17 field goals (41.2 percent), including a paltry 2 of 6 (33.3 percent) in the month of November. Embattled kicker Austin Hardin, who had his starting role called into question when the Gators held walk-on kicker tryouts in the middle of the season, hit just 5-of-14 field goals.
