GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Alex McCalister has a read on the quarterback. Florida's lengthy defensive end/linebacker is supposed to blitz, but the offense throws in a wrinkle: The running back comes free out of the backfield.

McCalister, all 6-foot-6, 240 pounds of him, sprints with the back into coverage. As soon as McCalister turns his head he must react to a ball rifled his way.
