Speaks Released on Bond

According to Parrish Alford of the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal, the sophomore was arrested in Oxford, Mississippi, on a first offense before being let out on bond later Friday morning.
Following the incident, Rebels head coach Hugh Freeze released a statement promising repercussions for Speaks' actions, per Alford:
Breeland's poor choice does not meet the expectations of our program, and there will be consequences. He and I have spoken, and he is very disappointed in himself and will accept whatever punishment is handed down.
