At training this week, Head Coach Brian Schmetzer told media that the team "needs just one little spark" to break out of an offensive slump that has seen the Rave Green score just three goals over five matches entering Wednesday's rivalry match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC at CenturyLink Field. The little spark, literally, came in the form of 5-7 midfielder Victor Rodriguez, who opened his MLS account with his first MLS goal in the 17th minute.
