We know we won’t see anymore Clint Dempsey goals this year. Heck, it’s at least a possibility that we’ll not see anymore ever. But it’s worth remembering that he’s been pretty darn productive during his somewhat limited time here.
Although he’s only been able to play in less than 60 percent of the potential league games since since signing in June 2013, Dempsey has bagged 40 goals in rave green across 86 matches in all competitions. He also has 22 assists, meaning he’s getting on the scoresheet in about 75 percent of his appearances.
An enterprising fan even compiled a video of all 40 goals, which includes 34 in league play, three in the playoffs, two in CONCACAF Champions League and one in the U.
