This week we celebrate the start of the long-delayed Tokyo Summer Games, with soccer to begin a couple days before the opening ceremonies.
No one knows what this spectator-less Olympic experience will be like. However, Washington State Legends of Soccer visited with some of our state’s Olympians and would-be Olympians to share their experiences over the last 40-plus years, from the amateur age to and boycotts to scoring goals and grabbing gold medals.
Beginning Monday and running through Thursday, WA Legends will roll-out a new YouTube series: Conversation with a Legend – Olympics Edition. The featured guests are Jeff Stock, Brent Goulet, Kasey Keller and Hope Solo.
