Led by head coach Brian Schmetzer the Seattle Sounders (14-14-6 +1) travel to Toronto, Canada to try to win their first ever MLS Cup. TFC (14-9-11 +12) are also trying to take their first MLS hardware. Toronto FC joined the league in 2007 and first made the playoffs in 2015. They have five Canadian Championships. Sounders have a Supporters' Shield and four US Open Cups. Greg Vanney, former Sounders color-commentator, is the coach of the Reds.
