Yes, this is real. Yes, it is amazing. No, it is not for professionals. It’s “just” a funky location for the residents of nearby islands to play their most popular sport. But it’s something out of Tolkien, if Middle Earth played sports.
It makes the Fred Brown dream of a floating Sonics Arena seem quaint. It also has me fantasizing about so many more communities in our area that can find a way to fit a soccer field in between the waters and mountains of our beloved land.
