In an ideal world, playing two Cascadia Cup games in the same week would be avoided. But this is not an ideal world and that’s the exact situation the Seattle Sounders found themselves in this week, visiting the Vancouver Whitecaps tonight and hosting the Portland Timbers on Sunday.
Annoying as that may be for anyone hoping to attend both games or even be able to be fully emotionally invested, it does make for tidy narrative building, as a pair of recently released videos illustrate.
