The Seattle Sounders’ Goal Scoring Problem

The Seattle Sounders have been in a goal scoring drought for most of the MLS season. They have only scored 10 goals as a team in the first 13 matches of the year. Their problems aren’t stemming from the defensive end but from their lack of finishing.

Seattle should be one of the top teams in the league in terms of results. They have the talent to be in the playoff race in the Western Conference but you wouldn’t know that so far this season. Outside of forward, Jordan Morris, goals have been few and far between.

Major League Soccer rookie, Jordan Morris, leads the Sounders with four goals scored this season.
