A bit of a chill was sent through the spines of Seattle Sounders fans when it was revealed that Stefan Frei was sent home early from United States National Team training camp with an ankle injury. Those concerns ramped up a few days later when GM Garth Lagerwey suggested the injury may be serious enough for him to miss most, if not all of preseason.
Those fears may be put to rest soon after Frei gave a very optimistic prognosis of his injury at Sunday’s YachtCon event.
“It’s good,” Frei said.
