On December 10th the Tacoma Stars (5-3) faced the Ontario Fury (2-3) at home in a tough MASL match-up. The Stars match was originally slated to start at 6:05pm - already delayed due to the MLS Cup - but, as a result of the OT and shootout, the Stars and Fury didn’t kickoff until 8:20pm.
The Stars walked onto the pitch and into an electric atmosphere. Not twenty minutes before kickoff, the Stars faithful had witnessed the incredible finale of the Sounders MLS Cup win! Tacoma fed off the energy in the arena, striking first thanks to a beautiful pass by Stars defender Evan McNeley to forward Dan Antoniuk.
