Stars Break Even in California

The Tacoma Stars hit the road for a pair of tough divisional matches. The Stars first faced the Turlock Express where they came out as 7-3 winners. On Sunday the Stars played arch rivals San Diego Sockers.

The first match on Friday night saw the Stars get out to a first quarter lead on the Express. Joseph Cairel got the first and only goal of the quarter. It was Cairel’s second of the season.

The second quarter was one way traffic from Tacoma. The Stars struck for SIX goals in the frame. Philip Lund opened his MASL Account netting two goals in a row.
