The first contest between the Seattle Sounders and Vancouver Whitecaps of the season is the second match of the 2018 Cascadia Cup. Portland currently leads the Cup with a 3-2 win in Seattle. This is also going to be a celebration of Seattle’s soccer heritage, with many things calling back to the success of the city’s NASL Sounders in the 70s and 80s.
