Seattle Sounders FC are 5-4-0 in home openers to start the season. In 2018 they look to expand on that while hosting Los Angeles FC. LAFC is coached by former Fire and USMNT coach Bob Bradley. Brian Schmetzer’s team was 11-1-5 +20 at CenturyLink Field in 2017. Their home shutout streak stretched to 605 minutes when they beat Santa Tecla 4-nil last Thursday.
The two teams meet again on April 29 when they open LAFC’s new stadium.
