The playoffs are not a strange experience for the Seattle Sounders over the years. But even the most common things in 2020 are strange, and the beginning of the 2020 MLS Playoffs has been bonkers. Who knows what’s in store tonight as the Sounders face off against LAFC, a rematch of last year’s Western Conference Final?
The script could not be more different than it was last year, though. LAFC has struggled to stay healthy this season and will enter this match severely shorthanded (see injury report below). They were in a similar situation the last time these two teams faced off and LA reeled away with a 3-1 victory.
