Sounders vs. Chicago Fire: Highlights, stats and quotes

A lackluster MLS is Back Tournament continued for the Seattle Sounders as they fell 2-1 to the Chicago Fire on Tuesday. The match kicked off a 9 AM local time and the Sounders never really woke up. Although they dominated possession, they lacked anything like a sustained attack and finished with just seven total shots. Jordy Delem, a late sub, actually led the team with two shots.

The Sounders will now need a win in their group stage finale against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Sunday to have any hope of advancing to the knockout stage.
