Despite losing both starting wingers from MLS Cup, the Seattle Sounders haven’t seemed particularly active in terms of seeking replacements. In that sense — and maybe only that sense — it’s notable that they were mentioned as one of the potential suitors for Kai Pröger, a German attacking player who’s currently out of favor at 2. Bundesliga side SC Paderborn. The rumor comes from German newspaper Westfalen-Blatt and lists the Sounders alongside Real Salt Lake and the Vancouver Whitecaps and teams interested in acquiring the 28-year-old.
