As had been rumored for a couple weeks, the Seattle Sounders have signed two more Homegrown Players ahead of the start of 2017 training camp. Seyi Adekoya and Henry Wingo become the eighth and ninth Homegrown Players signed to the Sounders first team.
“We’re pleased to add two promising young players to our roster as we head into the opening of preseason training camp,” Sounders General Manager & President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey said in a team release. “It’s vital that we continue to build from the Academy and we look forward to seeing what Seyi and Henry can bring to the table.
